Nowadays, many schools and colleges give importance and encourage their students to take part in foreign exchange programs. These programs allow students of one country to go to another country to learn the culture, custom and language of the host country. It is recommended that the foreign exchange student live with a host family in order to experience and learn the culture and lifestyle of the host country.

The foreign exchange programs are mainly intended to give students an opportunity to explore and learn a new language, a foreign culture, and a totally different lifestyle and environment.
